This elegant hotel is situated in a tranquil part of Florence's historical centre, close to the Lungarni road and Lungarno River, and a short stroll from a host of attractions.

The hotel is the ideal base for both business guests and families, thanks to its recent renewal and the opening of new rooms and suites. The interior of the hotel was designed by a group of architects who have worked on the renewal of some of the most prestigious Florentine hotels. The Terrazzino Reale Suites, in particular, leave you with the sense of being a guest in an old, noble Florentine residence.

During your stay, you can visit the communal theatre, the Congress Palace, the fashion district, and the most important monuments and sites like the cathedral, the Ponte Vecchio, the Church of S. Maria Novella and the Uffizi Gallery.

Room information

The 48 tranquil rooms include 7 single rooms, 23 standard doubles, 2 standard triples, 14 deluxe doubles and 2 suites. All are equipped with orthopaedic beds and all modern facilities. Some are also equipped with a private box-sauna. The new deluxe rooms are distinguished by their elegance and marble finished bathrooms, their original parquet wooden floors and their luxury decoration finishes. The suite boasts views of the Arno River, whilst the Granduca suite is an apartment of 80 m² with a vast living area and all ceilings with original fresco paintings by Luigi Ademollo, and a double frontal balcony to the hotel’s main entrance.

Area information

The hotel is situated in a tranquil area of Florence's historical centre, just steps away from Lungarno and Teatro Comunale of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and within 10 minutes' walking of the main attractions, such as: the Uffizi Gallery; the Duomo; the Accademia Gallery; and the Congress Hall.

Tourists information

By Car:
- Take the A1 freeway.
- Exit at Firenze Signa.
- Pass the freeway check-point and continue toward Florence (you will be on the final part of the highway coming from Pisa).
- This will end in an urban street, which in approximately 5 minutes will make you cross the Ponte della Vittoria.
- Immediately after crossing this bridge, take the first street on your right, on to Lungarno Vespucci.
- Then follow the directions for the hotel, which will be on your left after approximately 400 metres.

From the west coast:
- Take the A11 Firenze Mare freeway.
- After the freeway check-point, continue in the direction of Firenze.
- Once you are into the city you will be on Via Baracca, which will take you to the centre of Florence.
- Once you get to Porta al Prato (easily distinguished by its big arch in the middle), follow the directions to Lungarno Vespucci.
- Then, follow the signs to the hotel.

By Train:
The hotel is only 200 metres away from the station.
Exit the station via the door on your right, go down the stairs and go straight ahead until you reach the crossing on your left. Cross the street and go straight into Via degli Orti Oricellari. After a few minutes you will find the hotel on the right. If You have a lot of luggage, you can find taxis out of the exit, to the left.

By Plane:
Coming from the Florence’s airport, the easiest way to the hotel is a taxi, which will take approximately 15 minutes depending on the traffic (the cost will depend on the traffic too).
You also have the option of taking a bus to the Santa Maria Novella station, from there follow the directions given above.

A private car transfer can be arranged by the hotel on request (additional cost).

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
