Situated near to one of the now demolished gates in the wall which once surrounded the city, the hotel was established from the renovated home of a well-known family of Florentine merchants.

The terracotta, stonework and the fine collection of old tools on display around the hotel are all authentic features of the original house. These historic aspects, combined with modern comforts aim to offer you a unique stay in the heart of Florence.

Tourists information

By Car:
From the Highway:
- Exit at Firenze Nord, or Firenze Sud
- Follow signs for Centro and Stazione, until you reach the big fortress called Fortezza da Basso.
- Drive around the fortress and turn right into Viale Spartaco Lavagnini.
- At the first set of traffic lights, turn right into Via Santa Caterina D'Alessandria.
- Continue straight for Via Nazionale.
- Drive straight on to the end of Via Nazionale.
- Turn right and then turn right again, into Adua Square (Lazzi Bus Terminal).
- Enter Via Cennini.
- Continue straight on until you find 'Via Faenza.
- Turn right and after 30 metres you will find the hotel.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
