This lavish and unique deluxe hotel, transformed from a Neo-Renaissance villa, rests a few steps from Ponte Vecchio.

This iconic Medieval bridge spans the Arno River and is lined with shops (mainly jewellers). Positioned exclusively on the Piazzale Michelangelo, most of the city's attractions are at Villa La Vedetta's doorstep. A complimentary private car service for those harder to reach sights.

Set in picturesque gardens, hotel has an attractive swimming pool with side bar and terrace that offers superb views of the city. A whirlpool, sauna and fitness facilities centre complete the leisure facilities.

The hotel's Onice restaurant was awarded a Michelin Star in 2005.

Room information

Rooms and suites tastefully blend antique furniture with contemporary interior design. Each room is characterized by a different colour, which is repeated in the fine marble and mosaics of the bathroom and its jacuzzi bathtub.

Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 10:30
Lunch is served from 12:30 to 14:30.
Dinner is served from 19:30 to 22:30.

Onice Lounge & Restaurant (Michelin Star) is open Tuesday to Sunday from 19:30 to 22:30.

Onice Lounge Bar is open Sunday to Saturday from 12:30 to 00:00.

Area information

Villa La Vedetta is located in a picturesque position, just a few steps from Piazzale Michelangelo, Ponte Vecchio and the city’s most important and celebrated monuments and artifacts.

Tourists information

By car from northern Italy:
- Take the A1 motorway from Milan.
- Exit at Firenze Nord and follow signs for Centro / Viali Circonvallazione.
- Continue on the main streets (Fortezza da Basso, Viale Spartaco Lavagnini, Viale Matteotti, Piazza Libertà, Viale Antonio Gramsci, Piazza Beccaria and Viale Giovine Italia) until you reach Lungarno Pecori Girali.
- Turn right into Ponte S. Niccolò.
- At the roundabout, take the exit to Viale Michelangelo.
- Continue for about one kilometre and Villa La Vedetta will be on your right-hand side, about 200 metres before Piazzale Michelangelo.

From the West:
- Take the A11 highway, Firenze – Mare.
- Exit at Florence and follow the signs for Centro – Viali Circonvallazione.
- Continue as above.

From Amerigo Vespucci airport:
- Follow the directions from Florence.

From Girali.
- Turn right into Ponte S. Niccolò and continue as above.

From southern Italy:
- Take the A1 Rome motorway and exit at Firenze Sud.
- Continue until you reach traffic lights and turn right into Via Enrico de Nicola.
- Continue straight along the river, until you reach Ponte S. Niccolò.
- At the traffic lights, turn right and cross over the bridge.
- Take the roundabout into Viale Michelangelo. Continue for one kilometre and Villa La Vedetta will be on the right-hand side, about 200 metres before Piazzale Michelangelo.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
