Located within easy reach of the city centre and boasting spectacular panoramic views over the surrounding hills from the roof terrace, this is the first hotel entirely dedicated to chocolate.

The hotel boasts 94 well-equipped rooms, set on 3 unusual floors, each one of which is named after a different type of chocolate: Piano al Latte (Milk Floor); Piano al Gianduia (Piedmontese Nut Floor); and Piano al Fondente (Dark Floor).

The hotel’s well stocked Chocostore offers products from the best chocolate manufacturers. Chocolate and liqueur tasting is also available. The original restaurant offers a cocoa menu accompanied by traditional cuisine

Room information

On request, some of the rooms can feature fitness equipment, massage armchair, Playstation, Xbox and a sun light.

Food and beverages

The elegant restaurant offers all cocoa menus, from the starters to the dessert - Chocomenu - and an à la carte with traditional Umbrian products.

The restaurant also organise business breakfasts or special events with personalised menus.

The 2 comfortable rooms of the restaurant, Sala della Caccia e della Pesca and Sala del Cippo Etrusco, can accommodate up to 250 people and represents an ideal venue for banquets.

By Car:
From Florence:
- Take the A1 motorway.
- Exit at Valdichiana.
- Join the Perugia - Bettolle motorway towards Perugia.
- Exit at Prepo.
- Follow the one-way road (Via Palermo) and turn left at the traffic lights into Via Campo di Marte.
- The hotel is located after 400 metres, on the right.

From Roma:
- Take the A1 motorway.
- Exit at Orte.
- Continue towards Perugia.
- Exit at Prepo.
- Then, as above.

From Cesena:
- Take the E45 Perugia-Firenze motorway.
- Follow the signs towards Perugia.
- Exit at Prepo.
- Then, as above.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 3 years are charged EUR 8.00 per night and person for cots.
All children from 3 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged 70 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas only and is free of charge.
Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms only and is free of charge.
