Once it was an aristocratic residence, today it is the seat of Hotel
Farnese, a luxury hotel in the heart of Prati, one of Rome's most
elegant districts. Its owners are pleased to personally welcome their
guests and introduce them to a soft atmosphere of refined elegance and
impeccable service.

Hotel information

The Palace, dating back to 1906, has been completely renovated and opens onto a silent street named after it. The handsome atrium lobby hosts an authentic Italian object d'art from the XVII century: a Louis XlV frontal made up with multicoloured marble mounted in the reception base. Within this distinctive atmosphere, you may experience the warm hospitality and the efficiency of our friendly personnel, ready to give any tourist information or to meet your needs.
It is a pleasure to have a break in the elegant hall near the atrium lobby, featuring period furniture and authentic works of art such as the art noveau bureau (dating back to 1910) and the portrait of Pope Paul III Farnese. The beautiful wisteria wich decorates every springtime the hotel's facade has inspired the stained-glass window at the end of the lobby made of blown and opalescent glass. The design and decor of the Breakfast Lounge, with its earthen floor, follow the spirit of traditional aristocratic residences.

Room information

Guests accommodations are all spacious and offer modern amenities; some of them feature a private terrace. Peculiar details add more pleasure to your stay: you will sleep in linen bedding, and our sound-proof rooms, thanks to a special parquet and insulated doors, will shelter you from the outer world. All rooms are elegantly appointed with hand-made walnut furniture and some of them feature fine wood-panelling. Precious period engravings decorate the hotel walls.

Furthermore all rooms offer free Wi-Fi internet connection with guest's own laptop and an internet point (additional cost) in the lobby.

For a memorable stay do not forget to reserve our Junior Suite. Its decorated ceiling and Murano glass lamps give that special touch that no other rooms has. Large and bright bathrooms, all with direct-dial telephones, are tastefully appointed with marble or relief ceramics. The Roof Garden offers a magnificent view of S.Peter's Dome. We would like to remind our guests that the hotel is a stone's throw from the most famous monuments of Rome.

Food and beverages

Breakfast is served on the roof-garden where you can enjoy splendid views of St. Peter's dome. The rich buffet, with its varied courses shows the great attention placed in choosing first-quality, fresh products .

Area information

The Hotel Farnese is located in the centre of Rome, just ten minutes walk from the Vatican and ten minutes walk from Piazza del Popolo.
Furthermore, just around the corner near by the Hotel you will find the subway station "Lepanto", connecting you to every area of Rome in a few minutes.

Tourists information

From Fiumicino Airport (28 Km): take the exit n.1 - Aurelio-Vatican City. From the Vatican either take Viale Giulio Cesare or Via Cola di Rienzo; we are at the first cornert after the metro stop "Lepanto".

From North: Take highway A1 Florence – Rome, take the G.R.A. direction Fiumicino Airport Civitaecchia, from there take exit n°6 (the 2nd) direction FLAMINIO, STADIUM, ROMA CENTRO and follow direction to the Vatican City.

From south: Take the G.R.A. direction Fiumicino Civitavecchia, get exit n.1 Aurelio, Vatican city, Roma centro, follow direction Vatican City till viale Giulio Cesare without change direction. You'll find us after subway station Lepanto.

From Termini Railway Station:
take the Termini subwaydirection battistini (Line A), getting off at Lepanto stop.
By bus, outside Termini Station take bus n.70
By Taxi we highly recommend to take only the yellow and white licenced taxis.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 20.00 per night for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
