Ideally located in a quiet street in the very heart of Rome’s ancient city centre, this well positioned hotel is just a short walk from the famous Colosseum.

Other than the nearby Colosseum (about 15 minutes walk), from which the hotel gets its name, Hotel Colosseum is also just a short stroll from the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, the only Roman basilica that has retained the core of its original structure. The hotel can be easily reached by bus or Metro that will also give you easy access to many of the Eternal City’s other attractions. The hotel offers you a relaxing environment and from its top floor you can enjoy some wonderful views of ancient Rome and its major monuments.

Tourists information

By Air:
The hotel is approximately 25 km from Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport. Take the express train to Termini train station. From the station, take one of the official white taxis with a meter. The journey from the station to the hotel should take about 5 minutes.

By Car (from the A1 Milan-Rome motorway):
- Exit the A1, following the signs for Roma Nord.
- After the toll-gate, continue straight on for 20 km and take the exit at Settebagni.
- From there, take Via Salaria, which will take you into the centre of Rome.
- Then follow directions for the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore or Termini railway station.
- Once you reach the church square, follow Via Paolina and, after 50 metres, you will see the hotel.

By Car (from the A2 Naples-Rome motorway):
- Exit the A2, following the signs for Roma Sud and then follow the signs for Via Tuscolana Centre.
- This will bring you to the Basilica of Santa Giovanni.
- From there, take Via Merulana, which connects Santa Giovanni with the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.
- Follow the rest of the directions as above.

Parking:
Public parking is available at an additional cost just 50 metres from the hotel.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
