Listed as a national monument, the hotel was a stately home in the 1800's and is now fully renovated with air conditioning and modern comforts.

Quiet and exclusive, the building has retained its period décor with several of the rooms displaying fireplaces and frescoed ceilings.

Located on the high fashion street, Via dei Condotti, home to the exclusive stores of Armani, Bulgari, Cartier, Gucci, Hermes, Prada, Valentino, and others, the Inn is also ideal for visiting the countless cultural heritage sites of the city, which can be found within walking distance. Tucked into side streets are fine restaurants, beloved old-fashioned trattorie, and trendy wine bars.

The friendly and efficient staff are always available to arrange limousine service and sightseeing tours, whilst the subway (Metropolitana) stop is just one block away.

Hotel information

Through an escalator and moving sidewalk system, morning joggers can easily access the historic Villa Borghese park. A large American-owned gym with swimming pool is also located near the Metropolitana station.

How to reach us by car:
From the main highway A1 take the city's main entrance Roma Nord(if coming from Florence) than continue until the exit 'Settebagni' in the city centre direction (Centro) for at least 10km. Continuing always straight ahead, follow the indication for 'Piazza di Spagna' (Spanish Steps). By car the only access to the city centre is from 'Lungotevere' riverside going towards 'Piazza Augusto Imperatore' and taking 'Via Vittoria'. Then turn the first street on the right, authorized up to the corner of 'Via dei Condotti'.
If coming from the main highway A1 from the southern area (from Naples) take the exit Roma SUD and continue until you reach the exit of Rome's main ring-road G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare) in the direction 'Fiumicino Airport'. Once on the GRA exit for EUR and follow the directions 'City Centre - piazza di Spagna' up to 'Lungotevere' as indicated above.
Please remember that our property is located in the pedestrian area of the historical centre. No parking is allowednear the property. You may park your car in the nearest garage 'Parksiof Villa Borghese Gardens (700mt distance); alternatively in the Garage of Piazza Mignanelli (300 mt distance) or in the parking lot of Piazza Augusto Imperatore (also 300 mt distance).

Remarks

Please note that the Hotel does not accept Visa Electron to guarantee reservations. If a Visa Electron is used, the reservation will not be guaranteed and will be kept on a waiting list. Please note that a room will be assigned at the arrival only upon availability.

Please be aware that for reservations of 3 or more rooms, full pre-payment is required and the standard cancellation policy will not apply. The Inn at the Spanish Steps will send the client a booking agreement with the new cancellation policy and pre-payment conditions.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first two nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 100.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms only and is free of charge.
