Originally a Tuscan farm, just 2 km from historic Siena, this is the perfect location from which to explore the Chianti trail and Tuscan hill towns.

With its relaxing outdoor saltwater pool (June to September) and beautiful gardens, Borgo Grondaie provides an idyllic Italian retreat.

The charming Hotel & Apartments Borgo Grondaie was completely renovated in 2001. Maintaining its rural and rustic setting, Borgo Grondaie offers guests the possibility to choose between hotel or apartment accommodation both furnished in authentic rustic country Tuscan style and with all comforts.

All our rooms and apartments have a view of the surrounding gardens of our property. We have 1 room and 3 apartments with a balcony and 2 apartments with private garden.

Tourists information

By Car:
From the North:
- Take the A1 from Milan to Naples and exit at Florence Certosa.
- Get on the motorway and exit at Siena Nord.
- Look for signs to the 'Stazione' (train station).
- Pass in front of the train station.
- Go over the bridge with the metallic arch on your left.
- Turn right into the driveway for the large store, COOP. -
- Follow the driveway uphill to the hotel, which you will find behind the store.

From the south:
- Take the A1 from Naples to Milan.
- Exit at Valdichiana and follow directions to Siena.
- Follow the rail station signs that skirt the town until you see the bridge with the metallic arch.
- Go over that bridge.
- Take a right and again turn right into the driveway for the large store, 'COOP'.
- Follow the driveway uphill to the hotel, which you will find behind the store.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas only and costs EUR 3.60 per hour.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.
