Food and beverages

The 19th century Vecchio Pozzo (old well) that is built into the structure of Arcobaleno Hotel offers guests a unique dining opportunity.

The well, which was dug out of the villa's stone granaries, has been expertly converted to allow private business breakfasts, romantic dinners and special meetings, all in a magical setting.

The old brick silo that was originally constructed to collect water has been converted into three rooms, each on a separate level and each with its own comfortable round table. These dining areas are accessible by a charming winding stairway that allows exploration of the entire depth of the well.

Reservations are required for dinner in the well. In the summer, guests can dine outside, overlooking the Sienese Hills. The restaurant is open every day of the week except Sunday.

The restaurant's speciality dish is 'Pici al Cartoccio', a first course with a meat and cream sauce, spinach, paprika and ricotta cheese.

Tourists information

By Car:
From Florence:
- Take the A1 motorway south towards Roma, and exit at Certosa, taking the free highway towards Siena.
- Exit at Siena Nord and continue, following the signs for Centro (Centre). The Arcobaleno Boutique Hotel is on the left, 300 meters after the second traffic light.

From Rome:
- Take the A1 motorway north towards Milan, leaving it at the Valdichiana exit.
- Take the E78 highway towards Siena and exit at Siena Est.
- Follow the signs for the railway station and then for Arcobaleno.

Remarks

On the 15th and 16th of August the hotel requires a minimum stay of 2 nights due to the Ferragosto Holiday.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 16.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
