Most of the guest rooms and suites at the Grand Hotel De La Ville have a balcony with a view of either the gulf of Naples or the hotel's garden. Furnished in classical style they are provided with modern comforts. The hotel has also suites with sea view.

La Magnolia Bar, with charming view of the garden, you may spend long relaxing moments. Occasionally you will have the chance to taste our barman's most exclusive cocktails taking part to a Cocktail Party with lovely Sorrento music in the background.

Snack barbecue

The Snack Barbecue, on a terrace surrounded by orange and lemon-trees, will give you the opportunity to sip delightful drinks or to taste nice snacks without missing a single minute of sunbathing.

Hibiscus bar

The Hibiscus Bar is located on the top floor of the hotel by a large sunbathing terrace where you can enjoy a charming view of the gulf of Naples with the Vesuvius in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

A splendid and famous holiday resort, Sorrento stands on a terrace rising steeply above the sea on one of the most spectacular points of the Campanian coast. Because of its enchanting position and mild climate, sheltered by the surrounding hills, Sorrento has been a favorite resort since Romans times, (Agrippa, Augustus and Antonius all had villas here) and it became an elite tourist resort from the eighteenth century, its hotels welcoming such luminaries as Ibsen, Wagner and Nietzche.

By Aircraft: Capodichino Airport of Naples is the closest one to Neapolitan Riviera.


By Car: Follow the signs Sorrento peninsula ( penisola sorrentina) on the motorway A1 Rome-Naples which will take you at the motorway A3 Salerno-ReggioCalabria. Leave the motorway at the exit Castellammare Di Stabia and follow the signs Penisola Sorrentina on the coast road 145 from Castellamare di Stabia to Sorrento. Once you get to Sorrento follow the signs to our Hotel.


By Train: The central station of Naples is connected to Sorrento by the local train line Circumvesuviana. The terminal station is located right in the centre of Sorrento just few minutes walking to our Hotel. The journey lasts about 1 hour.


By Hydrofoil: From the harbour of Naples Molo Beverello there are hydrofoils to Sorrento almost every hour. The port of Sorrento “Marina Piccola” is very close to the centre and to our Hotel. The journey takes about 40 minutes.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 6 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
