Hotel Al Ponte Dei Sospiri features a friendly and romantic atmosphere in which you can experience the unique dichotomy of the style, refinement, exclusiveness and noblesse of a 17th century Venetian palace combined with all the modern facilities, service and convenience that you expect. The building has been renovated with great care and respect for every detail, so that you can live just around the corner from St. Mark’s square and gaze upon the Bridge of Sights and the Doge Palace through your window, at the same time safe in the knowledge that your most demanding leisure or business needs are catered to.

Room information

The hotel has 12 junior suites and one deluxe double room, each one furnished with velvet and precious brocade in different styles and colours. Some rooms are furnished in a Venetian style with Murano glass lamps, typical Venetian flooring and a separate living room where you can enjoy breakfast. Other rooms are furnished in a more modern style with Moquette flooring and a classic Venetian style. Several rooms boast a wonderful view of the Canal and the Bridge of Sighs.

Food and beverages

The 2 restaurants are owned by the same entity. At these establishments, you can enjoy typical local and international cuisine, whilst taking advantage of the 15% reduction.

For breakfast, 4 kinds of bread, croissant, roll, butter, jam, honey, cornflakes, muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese, salami, jam, fruit juice, biscuits, Nutella, and a special cake are served every day. Upon request the staff may cater to any special dietary needs. To start your day in style, you may also make breakfast a special occasion having it served privately in your room at no extra cost.

Area information

The Hotel Al Ponte dei Sospiri enjoys a felicitous position in the beating heart of the city, amidst the finest shops, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, art galleries and most important sights in the city.
St. Mark's Square, the Palazzo Ducale, the Bridge of Sighs, the Accademia, Peggy Guggenheim galleries, and Rialto Bridge with its fish market area are just a few of the wonders of Venice that can be enjoyed during a pleasant stroll along the city's paths.

Tourists information

From the Venice Marco Polo Airport:
- by private water taxi, which leaves directly from Venice Airport Marco Polo at the water entrance of the hotel in about 30 minutes.
-taking the ALILAGUNA shuttle service which also travels from the airport pier and reaches Saint Mark's in about an hour. From there it is a 300-meters walk accross the Piazza to Calle Larga San Marco, 381.
From Piazzale Roma (Venice Car Terminal) and Santa Lucia train station:
- by private water taxi, within about 20 minutes, directly up to our private dock.
- using the public waterbus transportation service (Vaporetto) line 1 or 82 (the same route as line 1 along the Canal Grande, but quicker) to the Saint Mark's stop, only about 300 metres from our hotel. the trip takes about 40 minutes, and the cost of the ticket is approximately EUR 5.00 per person. Once you alight at the Saint Mark's stop, proceed towards the Piazza San Marco until you find street Calle Larga San Marco where, at the end, you will reach the entrance of our hotel.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 80.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
