Palazzo Cendon - Il Piano Antico offers rooms furnished – each in its individual style – in the full respect of the traditional Venetian concept of luxury. Some of them have fabric on the walls, four poster beds and antique objects and pieces of furniture.
All rooms have their own en suite marble bathroom or shower room, air conditioning, telephone, TV, mini-bar, safe and hair dryer.

Area information

Palazzo Cendon - Il Piano Antico overlooks the Canal di Cannaregio, the second biggest canal in Venice after the Gran Canal, a short walk from the Train Station and the ancient Ghetto. Cà D’Oro and Rialto are a 15 minutes walk away.

The location is one of the most authentic areas of Venice where walking around the Calli and Fondamenta it is still easy to lose the notion of time.

FROM THE TRAIN STATION (Venezia S. Lucia)
(5 minutes walking)
Leaving the train station, turn left towards Rio Trà Lista di Spagna. Keep going straight on through Campo S. Geremia until you reach the Ponte delle Guglie on the Canal di Cannaregio. Do not cross the bridge, but turn left on Fondamenta Venier keeping the canal to your right for about 300 yards. Palazzo Cendon is on your left at n. 533.

FROM P.LE ROMA
(3 minutes by public transport and 5 minutes walking)
From P.le Roma, take the waterbus (lines 1 or 82) to the railway station. Getting off the waterbus turn right towards Rio Trà Lista di Spagna. Keep going straight on through Campo S. Geremia until you reach the Ponte delle Guglie on the Canal di Cannaregio. Do not cross the bridge but turn left on Fondamenta Venier keeping the canal to your right for about 300 yards. FROM THE AIRPORT
(40 minutes by public transport and 5 minutes walking or 30 minutes by water taxi)
From Venezia Marco Polo Airport (VCE) take a cab or a bus to P.le Roma (Line n. 5). From P.le Roma, take the waterbus (lines 1 or 82) to the railway station.
