The main part of the structure is the Art Nouveau style villa, which belonged to a titled family for many years and has recently been renovated.

All rooms include a bathroom with shower (or bathtub in junior suites) and are equipped with all common facilities. Almost all the new rooms have spacious, private terraces that look out over the underlying valleys and the villa's secular park. The rooms also feature an internet connection.

San Gimignano (2 km) - this charming, walled, medieval hill-top town is famous for its medieval architecture, especially its towers. No fewer than 13 towers from the Middle Ages survive today, creating an impressive skyline which can be seen for miles around.

Siena (45 km) - this city's cathedral was begun in the twelfth century and is one of the greatest examples of Italian romanesque architecture.

From Florence:
- take the A1
- exit towards Firenze Certosa
- take the Superstrada Firenze-Siena
- exit at Poggibonsi
- follow the signs for San Gimignano
- go past the town on the road that passes around the old medieval walls, the Relais La Cappuccina is approximately one kilometre after San Gimignano, on the left.

From Rome:
- take the A1 north
- exit at Valdichiana
- follow the signs for Siena
- in Siena, take the tangenziale Ovest to join the Superstrada Siena-Firenze
- exit at Poggibonsi Centro
- follow the signs for San Gimignano
- go past the town on the road that passes around the old medieval walls, the Relais La Cappuccina is approximately one kilometre after San Gimignano, on the left.

From Pisa:
- get on the Superstrada Pisa-Firenze
- exit at Empoli
- follow signs for Castelfiorentino–Poggibonsi
- once you reach Certaldo, turn right
- follow the signs for San Gimignano
- the Relais La Cappuccina is approximately on kilometre after San Gimignano on the left.
