Antica Locanda Sturion is located in the city's historic center, 10 minute walking distance from Saint Mark. Overlooking the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge, it is just a few steps from Rialto's picturesque morning market. The decor in every room has been created with the greatest care to recall a classic 18th century Venetian bedroom. In 1494, Vittore Carpaccio in his painting "The Miracle of the Cross", which can be seen at the Academy.

The rooms are decorated in 18th century Venetian style, complete with damask upholstery and dressing tables. The rooms all come equipped with private bathrooms with bathtubs and/or showers, air conditioning, direct telephones, satellite TVs, minibars, hairdryers, safes, coffee/tea makers and complimentary cookies.

From "Marco Polo" airport, there is a bus service from the airport to Piazzale Roma (bus terminal) coinciding with flights. Then, from Piazzale Roma, take waterbus #1 to San Silvestro stop (on the same side of the hotel) or #82 (faster) to Rialto" stop (cross the Rialto bridge and follow the bank to the left along the Grand Canal).
From TREVISO airport, there is a bus service from the airport to Piazzale Roma coinciding with flights. By train, from the train station "Santa Lucia" in Venice, take waterbus #1 to San Silvestro stop (on the same side of the hotel) or #82 (faster) to Rialto" stop (cross the Rialto bridge and follow the bank to the left along the Grand Canal).
