All rooms at Hotel Ca’ Formenta are furnished in a typical Venetian style with blue carpets, yellow wallpaper and white custom-made furniture. All rooms are fully-equipped with all modern amenities. The marble bathrooms are mostly equipped with walk-in showers, though some contain a bath tub and shower combination.

A rich buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room on ground floor from 07:30 to 10:00. During the summer months, guests can also enjoy breakfast on one of 2 tables in front of the hotel, where they can admire the charming views.

Room service is also available for an additional cost.

Hotel Ca' Formenta does not have a restaurant, but in Via Garibaldi and in the neighbourhood there are some typical Trattorias with excellent seafood and reasonable prices.

Via Garibaldi, położona w popularnej dzielnicy Castello, uznawana jest za serce Wenecji. Ta duża aleja pełna jest życia, a jednocześnie nie jest zatłoczona turystami, i pełna jest kawiarni i restauracji. Znajduje się tu także poczta, bank, supermarket, sklep spożywczy i targ rybny. Hotel znajduje się także kilka minut spacerem od terenów Biennale (wystawa sztuki nowoczesnej i architektury) oraz kościoła San Pietro di Castello, który był kiedyś główną katedrą Wenecji.

Informacje dla podróżujących

The hotel Cà Formenta is found on Via Garibaldi and is easily reached from Marco Polo airport (VCE), Santa Lucia Railway Station and Piazzale Roma car park.

The hotel has a private wharf therefore, for convenience, the hotel suggests that you come by motorboat taxi. It is certainly the more scenic and convenient way to arrive at Ca’ Formenta.

Alternatively, there is public transport; from Marco Polo airport: the shuttle boat 'Alilaguna' leaves every hour. The nearest stop to the hotel on the red line is 'Arsenale’.

From Santa Lucia train station and Piazzale Roma: the hotel advises taking the boat line ACTV number 51 or 61. Get off at the Giardini pier, pass the first bridge on the left, continue along Riva dei Sette Martiri up to the hotel.

Another way is to take boat line ACTV number one and follow the Grand Canal, a very beautiful, romantic journey of about 45 minutes to the Arsenale Wharf, just after St. Mark’s Square.

Treviso Airport (TSF) is an alternative for low cost flights, approximately 20 km from Venice. From here you should take the ATVO shuttle bus to Venice Piazzale Roma and then follow instructions listed above.
