Dzielnica Cannaregio to najmodniejsza część miasta, gdzie mogą Państwo zobaczyć, jak wygląda codzienne życie. W Cannaregio mieszkał Tintoretto, który jest pochowany w pięknym gotyckim kościele Madonna dell’Orto, w którym podziwiać można także niektóre z arcydzieł tego artysty.

Madonna Dell’Orto:
Kościół, którego większość odwiedzających Wenecję nie ma okazji zobaczyć. Kościół Tintoretto ma wspaniałą fasadę z cegły i piękne wnętrza, ale większość turystów przyciąga obrazami artysty.

Ca' d'Oro to zaraz po Pałacu Dożów prawdopodobnie najsłynniejszy pałac w Wenecji. Jego nazwa pochodzi o pozłacanych i polichromowanych elementach dekoracyjnych, które ozdabiają jego wnętrza. Pałac ten został wybudowany w latach 1428-1430 dla rodziny Contarini, z której wywodziło się 8 weneckich Dożów. Obecnie, w rezydencji znajduje się galeria otwarta dla zwiedzających.

By Plane:
From Marco Polo International Airport, the hotel may be reached by a private water taxi, which stops in front of the hotel or by a public bus to Piazzale Roma (approximately 30 minutes). From Piazzale Roma, you can then take a private water taxi or the public vaporetto (Line number 1) to Ca’ D’Oro.

By Car:
- Drive over Ponte della Libertà, the bridge that connects Venice to the mainland.
- At the traffic lights go straight along the main road and follow the signs for Piazzale Roma.
- The parking areas are Garage San Marco or Garage Comunale.
