The hotel has 24 cosy rooms with bath or shower/toilet, hairdryer, radio, telephone, TV, and mostly with balcony with view to Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The hotel Edelweiss is located in middle of the town. Excellent for walks or hikes in summer and it is close to the skilifts in winter.

By train from Zurich:

There is a train service from Zurich via Bern and Interlaken-Ost to Lauterbrunnen, where it connects to the bus service to Stechelberg. From Stechelberg the "Schilthornbahn" (railway line) departs to Gimmelwald and Mürren.

By car:

Travel to Interlaken on the Autobahn and take the road to Stechelberg via Wilderswil and Lauterbrunnen from there. Park your car in Stechelberg (CHF 5.00) and take the "Schilthornbahn" (railway line) to Gimmelwald and Mürren. Mürren is a car-free town.
