The building dates back to 16th century and was the residence of a Captain of the Serenissima. Just a step from the Railway station, the hotel is located in a secluded and silent calle, communicating with Lista di Spagna, the main street towards Saint Mark, crowded with people and stores of every kind. A renowned taverna since 1850, the hotel takes the name from the last locandiera who managed it from 1930 to 1980. Today the secular tradition of hospitality is continued by Dello Strologo family: Pietro’s mission is to make you feel at home and to make your holiday unforgettable. Pietro and the staff don’t guarantee you "only" a warm acceptance and impeccable service, but are at your disposal with all advices and suggestions in order you enjoy at the best all that this incredible city can offer.
Locanda: this word, deriving from the Latin verb "locare" which means "to rent", indicates a place where rooms can be rent. In Italian this term identifies a cozy hotel with an informal atmosphere.

The rooms, wide and sunny, have been recently renewed and furnished very carefully. All rooms have private bathroom and every comfort: hair dryer, satellite TV, minibar, telephone, Wi-Fi internet connection, air conditioned, safe. Windows are equipped with mosquito-nets: even at the height of summer you will be able to live unforgettable venetian evenings with wide open shutters and lights on. Our superior double rooms are all furnished with marvellous fabric in different colours for all tastes and original furniture of eighteenth century. They are very quiet and bright and provided with private toilet and shower or bathtub with hair-dryer, cable TV, direct dial telephone with the possibility to plug in your PC, minibar, safe, air conditioning and mosquito nets. The beds can be either double or twin.

Wenecja jest małym miastem, ale jej oferta artystyczna, kulturalna i gastronomiczna jest ogromna i niezwykle urozmaicona. Aby lepiej ją poznać, należy spędzić tutaj przynajmniej kilka tygodni. Peter, który mieszka tu od wielu lat, z przyjemnością odkryje przed Państwem mniej znane skarby miasta. Jedną z zalet hotelu jest niewielka odległość od dworca (2 minuty spacerem) oraz od parkingu Tronchetto przy Piazzale Roma (8 minut spacerem). W związku z tym jakiekolwiek problemy z bagażem ograniczone są do minimum. Wenecki dworzec kolejowy jest cichy i bezpieczny. Nie ma tu tłoku, ani problemu z ruchem. Nic nie zakłóca panującego tu spokoju. Nasz hotel znajduje się z dala od głównej ulicy,w związku z czym mogą Państwo liczyć na ciszę i spokój. Hotel znajduje się nie tylko w pobliżu głównych punktów komunikacji (dworzec i Piazzale Roma), ale także w samym sercu Wenecji. Znaleźć nas można w dzielnicy Cannaregio: tętniącej życiem, kolorowej i fascynującej, nieco oddalonej od centrum turystycznego. jest to dzielnica miasta, w której można poznać najbardziej autentyczną Wenecję. Pierwsze getto w Europie oraz znajdujące się tu synagogi, kościół Madonna dell’Orto, Riva della Misericordia i oszałamiające widoki na północną część laguny to tylko niektóre z cudów, na które natkną się Państwo spacerując wzdłuż kanałów tego małego, ale uroczego miasta.
