In a beautiful and historic old building, this charming family-run bed and breakfast has just 5 rooms, guaranteeing peace and tranquillity and friendly, personalised service. On a quiet street, away from the busiest tourist thoroughfares, the hotel nevertheless has a convenient central location, just 5 minutes from the famous Rialto Bridge, in an ideal location for exploring all that this spectacular city has to offer.

All of the comfortable, air conditioned, en suite rooms are bright, airy and well-equipped with modern comforts such as satellite TV. Leaning out from the large windows you can catch the scent of the gardens nearby.

The Locanda Aquavita has just five rooms, each of them furnished and decorated in the traditional Venetian style and finished to a very high standard. The rooms include one quadruple room, one triple room and 3 double rooms arranged over 2 floors. Some of the rooms feature stunning original features such as ceilings with exposed wooden beams and typical Venetian mosaic flooring. The bright, spacious, airy rooms are well-equipped, with all the modern comforts and facilities you need to enjoy a restful, relaxing holiday. Each room is named after one of the major islands of the lagoon, San Andrea, San Francesco, Murano, Burano and Torcello, and each room has the appropriate island depicted above the bed.

Breakfast is included in the quoted price and is served in the room, so guests can enjoy their breakfast in the comfort and privacy of their own room. Breakfasts can be arranged on arrival with the Gentile Padrone di Casa (or Head of the Household), Dario. Any subsequent changes can likewise be made with him.

Monica, the co-owner of the Locanda Acquavita, will be happy to recommend good places to eat in the afternoon and evening, including authentic local restaurants and traditional trattorias. She can also provide information and make suggestions regarding the best places to buy great locally produced wines and typical regional produce.
